As you can probably guess, this is our flagship service. Most of the calls that we received even very early on were from people that were looking to get this particular service provided to them. We say this all of the time because we think it is very true. A lot of people tend to think this type of job is easy. All you are doing is taking a mold and pressing it on wet cement right? What could be so difficult? You wouldn’t be wrong to think that, except for the fact that there is a catch. You have to remain focused throughout the entire process, something that gets increasingly difficult to do over time!
Where Are You Getting The Design?
We do have on hand certain molds that have previously been used by us in other services. If you like one of the designs that we have in-house we would be more than happy to apply that to your new flooring or walls. If you are essentially looking for a custom stamp that is also something that we would be able to get for you. We have created all sorts of different designs that we use constantly. There is always room for one more though!
Stamping An Old Concrete Floor
The concept behind stamping is pretty simple. You have wet cement and you are putting a stamp on it so that it will be able to leave an imprint behind. What happens though when you have a concrete structure that has already dried out? Does this mean that stamping is out of the question? It will really depend on the structure. We can come and take a look at what you may want us to stamp. There are times where we will be able to apply a new layer of fresh concrete and stamp that. It really depends though on what we anticipate the outcome could be!
We usually focus on the fact that we can stamp floors. Concrete stamping though is also a very viable way to be able to have walls with unique designs. The process that goes into stamping walls is pretty much the same as what we do when we stamp floors. That being said, we do think that working with walls is a bit different. In that, gravity comes into play. We are going to have to be very careful to not allow the wet cement to start dripping and cause a major mess. We have gotten the job done on numerous occasions though.
Finding A Decent Price Tag
Plenty of people wonder why they are able to find different price tags with even local companies. What happens is that for the most part, companies will have a set rate per square foot for the service. If you want to cover a larger area the price may go down, depending on the type of company that you are working with. We always want to provide the best prices for our customers. Give us a call and let us know what kind of a budget you are working under!
